Do they give out contracts for speeches? This guy is a great college player and perfect fit for his system, like Montana was for the WCO. Unfortunately that system is not run in the NFL and the ones that are he has almost zero skill set for. Leftwich has a quicker release than him. David Carr has better footwork in the pocket. These are not compliments. His best hope is to run a few gimmick plays here and there, but I wouldn't spend anything more than a 4th rd pick on that.

man, his wind up is gonna get him nailed in the nfl. It is sooo slow. You could load a musket in the time it takes him to wind up. I wouldn't spend anything over a 6th on him. No Question hes a leader, but he's a result of a system. He may need several years to develop before he'll amount to something.

Nate Davis is soo much smoother with his release, more accurate and better mechanics.

that concept....has been used at every level of play from high school to the olypic games in every sport man and woman was ever undertaken.

in a pefect world if nate davis shows he is not the man (while he runs the scout team)...the 49ers trade a 2nd or 3rd to green bay for brian brohm if tebow is not around after the first round....(i bet he isnt)


but i suspect davis looks like dan marino after the coaches spend a season watching hill and smith practice.
