No doubt mrob is not going anywere. Iam thinking Gore, Coffee, sheets, then norris and mrob at fullback sound pretty dam good.

No one hates him, people just wish he was more productive as a running back like he's listed as. I know he's a good football player and can catch and is athletic, but dude is not a running back.

He could be a Leon Washington kind back, perhaps.

I see Sheets as a poor man's LeSean McCoy, except faster.

If Kory Sheets can perform in the NFL then he is the PERFECT compliment to Gore. Glenn Coffee is more of a redzone dude.

i am not sure about that. but i see him maybe staying in place of a TE. instead of the 4 we usually have maybe just 3. also probably only 5 WRs, unless they really like zeiglar.

Right On!!
How many special team specialists can we afford to carry on the roster anyway. Last year we had M-Rob, K Lewis and Ulbrich. Outside of ST's these guys didn't contribute anything.
I never really thought about it until now, maybe it is time to cut M-Rob loose. I like the Sheet pickup, he could be an excellent pickup and provide a good change of pace.

Michael Robinson is great on ST's, but so was Terry Jackson.
I have a feeling that unless he miraculously shows something we haven't seen before -- if Sheets really impresses, he could wind up pushing M-Rob out of town.

sheets is a straight up BALLA ! we MUST keep gore, coffee, sheets, and m-rob.. but clayton has to get the boot.. keeping 4 RB's would mean that battle and zeigler would most likely get cut as well since we're also keeping 3 TE's..

Sheets sucks. But we didn't draft him so it doesn't matter.

why m-rob, solely because of special teams?
let's make a list of our special team specialists:
-ulbrich
- m-rob
- jason hill (i recall a couple plays he made)

They are keeping the 53 best players, period. I wouldnt worry about anyone who deserves to stay because most likely they will be on the roster next year

pretty much, he's been our best special teamer for the past 2 years and keith lewis just left so i could see him staying.. i doubt hill will play special teams because i could see him playing the slot this year.. unless brandon jones plays slot which i'm not hoping for..
