1st 2027 Mock!

Here we go again! Free Agents: Dre Greenlaw, LB: Should be year to year at this stage. Breece Hall, RB: Spend big on CMC's replacement. Demario "Pop" Douglas, WR: Vertical slot we've been looking for, assuming Cowing doesnt develop. Ben Skowronek, FB: Makes it so we dont have to take ALL of Juice's plays out of the playbook after we finally let him walk. Darnell Mooney, WR: This one is contract dependent; we'll see if he "proves it" on his 1 year deal with the Giants. He can effectively act as insurance for all 3 spots: deep threat for Evans, Z for Pearsall and Slot for Stribling/Pop. Assuming Evans is here, the room is a bit too crowded to prioritize Mooney if the price isnt right. Harrison Phillips, NT: Cost-effective run stuffer as insurance if West and Collins max out. Michael Mayer, TE: Also contract dependent. The team has been looking for a reliable #2 TE as is, and it wouldnt hurt to start grooming Kittle's eventual successor either. That said, the team has time before Kittle retires to figure it out, and he already accounts for a lot of money at the position. Draft: R1| Koi Perich, S Finally, a star-caliber starting safety. R2 | Austin Siereveld, LG Finally, a left guard that won't be bullied by Seattle. R3 | Kade Pieper, OC Finally, a center that wont embarrass us. Undersized so he falls. R4 | Niki Prongos, OT Finally, the team starts thinking a bit more seriously about life after Trent. He's more likely to be this year's late riser akin to Monroe Freeling, but hes still quite raw. So until that happens, I'm going to mock him to the team that has the time to develop him into a player that takes advantage of his size and athletic gifts. R5 | Charles Jagusah, OL This one is a little tongue-in-cheek, but the team could do worse that an athletic freak who can potentially fill in as a swing player at all 5 spots on the line.

Spending big money on a RB then going after 4 linemen and a safety in the 1st lol. I get your vision but this is the opposite of what this regime does.

Kade Pieper is probably there for us in the first, Perich seems to be losing steam with the draftniks so far
