ok Dexter is still alive but my first pick follows what 49ers were looking for in that draft. 49ers wanted a Dave Meggett-like player when they chose Dexter, but it didn't work out in the end. Maybe this time it will. Overall I am assuming that there are no sure-fire day-one starters available at 31 so they look to address special teams, future needs and depth. Round 2 63 Kiran Amegadjie, OT - 49ers opt to take a high upside developmental player at this spot who would take some time to shadow Trent Williams. Round 3 94 Nehemiah Pritchett, CB - Ward and Lenoir contracts up ahead so they need to prepare for one departure. Probably Ward will be the priciest. Round 4 124 Malik Mustapha, S - Insurance for Huf injury return. Round 4 132 Braelon Allen, RB - All RBs are in contract years except McCaffrey and Juice and this is a big back to push the pile. Round 4 135 Beaux Limmer C - Depth on OL Round 5 176 Sione Vaki, S - More insurance at S Round 6 211 Myles Harden, CB - Depth at CB Round 6 215 Trente Jones, OG - Depth on OL Round 7 251 Evan Anderson, DT - 1 Tech rotational piece.

I assumed for this no-trade mock that DeJean was already chosen a few spots before 31.

I like this RB and be a great get in Round 4.

All things considered, I did predict

Round 1 WR - just the wrong WR
Round 4 #124 Malik Mustapha nailed it
Round 4 RB - also the wrong RB
Round 7 Evan Anderson - UDFA instead of pick
