After winning the NFC West and getting the #1 seed for the NFC Playoffs, the Niners roster is very solid and the team is down to only six picks at this time. I agree with GEEK that the Niners will need to recoup some of the picks they used to acquire Dee Ford and Emanuel Sanders. The Denver Broncos have a huge need to rebuild their offensive line to protect Drew Lock and they have two extra third round picks plus a second round pick to exchange for the Niners late first round pick. That would move the Niners down to the middle of round two and three. The player ratings are based on the Draft Network predictive board as of today. This is not a full offseason plan including free agent signings, but I will make some assumptions about who stays and who goes. The Niners don't have any glaring needs but here are the major changes to the roster that I can foresee. As of today, I think Armstead will leave for a huge payday after his breakout season and the Niners will not be able to afford him. Marquise Goodwin and Jerick McKinnon will be cut for salary cap purposes. Sanders, Kittle, DJ Jones and Buckner will be re-signed to extensions. That leaves the following needs to be addressed in the draft: CB Interior Offensive Line S LB RB WR TE Picks Round 2 Pick 47 Paulson Adebo CB Stanford - long term depth to replace Uncle Sherm Round 3 Pick 79 Lloyd Cushenberry IOL LSU - someone to eventually take over for Person or Richburg Round 5 Pick 142 Tipa Galea'i OLB Utah State - stand up OLB/DE who can rush the passer or cover if necessary Round 5 Pick 159 Mohammed Barry LB Nebraska - Physical LB who could be new SLB Round 6 Pick 190 Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB LSU - toughness and the skillset to be a 3 down back Round 7 Pick 194 Quintez Cephus WR Wisconsin - quick but not fast WR with a checkered past Round 7 Pick 223 Jaron Bryant CB/S Fresno State - good size college CB who doesn't have the straight line speed for an NFL CB; move to safety Your thoughts................

Who would you target for FA? Feel like we'll still be bare at edge if we lose Armstead.

Besides adding a Dee Ford type, speed rusher in the draft, I would target Steven Weatherly from the Vikings or Carl Nassib from the Bucs. Both still young with some decent upside.
