I am not going to do trade down scenarios because I do not think pick 2 has any players someone will give a lot of picks for, unless Garrett falls to pick 2, then all bets are off. I am tired of waiting, we have a coach and GM who appears capable with 6 year contracts, lets pair them with a qb to start them off right. Pick 2, trade to NE for Jimmy Garropolo (assuming 5 year or 6 year contract is in place.). This is a lot, but it is ONE pick, a pick that we would spend on Trubisky or Watson, or a DL for the third year in a row. FRanchise qb, is worth a lot, so I am willing to part with the second pick, would like to get the pats 3rd rounder in the deal, but I think the market is so tight for qbs it is what it will take. Pick 34- christian Mccafrey- return man, rb, slot receiver, he can do it all, bring some intelligence, and big play abililty to the 9ers. Shannahans system is complex, Garrapolo and Mccafrey can handle it. 3rd round pick- Jordan Leggett TE Clemson- Shannahan uses multiple 3 TE sets. Another TE is needed 4 round -Kendall Beckwith ILB LSU 4th round comp Alex Anzalone LB Florida 5th round- Stevie Tu ikolvatu NT USC 6th round Cameron Tom C Souther Mississippi 7th round - Best kicker available 7th round- 3rd string qb, camp arm, PS player Lots of holes to fill, impossible to do it in one year, backfill with Free agents for other needs. The biggest hole is QB, check, next biggest is qb options, see pick 2 and pick 3. fourth biggest problem is our ILB sucking, see picks in 4th round. NT needs to be addressed, see fifth round, Martin sucks so nsee 6th round.

Hate it nothing about this draft I like... especially trading the 2nd overall pick for JG

So we trade our second pick to a guy that is 25 and we would have to sign him to a huge contract even though we have no idea if he is legit when we could just trade down for a lot more assets and get a younger qb on a cheaper rookie contract.

If we trade our second round pick I wouldn't be as mad, but people have given up a lot more to get that 2nd overall pick...

I'd rather keep the 2nd pick and trade a lower pick for someone like Cutler, then draft a developmental QB later. Trading such a high pick for a QB who's played in 4 or 5 games seems like a horrible idea that could set this team back even further.

Why we trading anything for cutler? He's gonna get cut, no way in hell the bears or anyone are paying him $16 million this yr.

If they want him simply wait for him to be released

I would be fine trading for Jimmy but not the #2. I would say a 3rd this year and a 3rd next year that could turn into a 2nd if he hits certain criteria. Other than that. I'm fine with out him.

I thought I read somewhere he was up for trade, if they're cutting him, then I agree, pick him up when released.

The Bears will try to trade him but who's gonna bite on that for that amount of money? They can cut him and only have $2 million in dead money and every team knows that.

He will be cut end of the day

smh so many zoners giving in to JG while he isn't head and shoulders above the other options. If I'm forced to use #2 on a QB, it's Trubisky. Trubisky 3rd year>JG 3rd year. That's only if I'm forced.

Maybe its just me, but gun to my head and I had to pick a QB for #2, I'd go Watson. To me, the boom or bust factor between the 3 QB's is the same, but the ceiling for Watson is higher
