With our Head Coach all but signed on the bottom line and NO GM in place, this is a one trade mock draft only based on NFL Draft Scout prospect rankings as of Jan 18th:
Trade #2 pick this year for Jets 1st rounder, 2 - 2nd rounders (this year and next) and a 5th rounder this year
Round 1 Mike Williams 6'3" 225 lbs WR Clemson - no QB is worth this high of a pick for the Niners, but the Jets apparently want one bad. Trade down to #6 and get a franchise WR
Round 2a DeShone Kizer 6'4" 230 lbs QB Notre Dame - I know many of you think he won't be here, but the rankings say he will; QB of the future
Round 2b Raekwon McMillan 6'2" 240 lbs ILB Ohio State - Need to fill huge hole in the middle of our defense
Round 3 Bucky Hodges 6'6" 245 lb TE Virginia Tech - ranked anywhere between a 2nd -3rd round prospect; Niners get a matchup nightmare at TE
Round 4a Montravius Adams 6'3" 309 lbs DT Auburn - Niners need to get a run stuffer right in the middle; no change here
Round 5a Amba Etta- Tawo 6'1" 204 lbs WR Syracuse - need some better targets for our new QB
Round 5b Donnell Pumphrey 5'8" 180 lbs RB San Diego St - the new version of Devonta Freeman to backup Hyde
Rouund 5c Davis Webb 6'3" 227 lbs QB California - double down on QB's
Round 6a Ejuan Price 5'11" 250 lbs EDGE Pittsburgh - Elvis Dumervil clone who is a little older but constantly provides pressure
Round 6b Jaylen Reeves-Maybin 6'0" 230 lbs OLB/S Tennessee - Ray Ray clone to play LB and cover on passing downs
Round 7a Cole Croston 6'5" 307 lbs OT Iowa - Swing tackle to backup Staley and Brown
Round 7b Nathan Gerry 6'2" 220 lbs SS Nebraska - backup SS for Tartt and a good special teams player
My guess is the Niners will address the following positions in free agency:
CB
OLB (DeMarcus Ware ?)
NT
QB
C/OG
Your thoughts..........
Lol, CBS has him ranked 34th, but they only have 2 QBs ahead of that. If you think 33 picks will go by and only two QBs will be taken, you're mistaken. The mock drafts on that same site have Kizer going 3rd overall to the Bears and 13th overall to the Cardinals and they were updated in the last week.

"The rankings have him there". Yeah, one person's rankings (whoever compiled those CBS rankings) when every mock has him as a first round pick.
WalterFootball still has him ranked as the #1 QB, Matt Miller has him one spot behind Mitch Trubisky (#17) in his rankings, Daniel Jeremiah has him as his top QB and #15 overall prospect.
There's a better chance we take Kizer at #2 than he falls to the 2nd round.
