Dalton Risner-OG

He's not a great run blocker but he's consistently been one of the better pass blocking guards in football for years and they have a $50 million QB to protect. Risner could hold down LG for a year or two while they get the OL straightened out.

"Dalton Risner would profile as a positive addition, given his experience and grading profile as a pass blocker, having earned a 76.1 PFF pass-blocking grade in 2024."

Risner has experience at both guard positions, playing exclusively on the left side during his first five NFL seasons before transitioning to the right in 2024. Over the past two seasons, he has allowed just one sack, though he did spend time on injured reserve last year.
Rumor is he wants more than the 49ers are paying Puni :)

Probably waiting for a team to be desperate for a functional NFL guard.

Where did you see that rumor? Puni only makes $1.4 mil a year.

Minnesota sports radio. I didn't say he wanted a ton :)

Supposedly wants more than the Vikings paid him last year which was $2.5ish
Sign him. Why did the Vikings let him go BTW? Are their injury concerns? He was pretty highly rated coming out. He's a big, powerful guy. What is the problem? Too high of a salary? Injuries?
