He's absolutely not getting cut.

Getting traded is theoretically possible; if he's traded before Friday, it's a one-year, $30M contract for the trading team. If it's after Friday, it's a one-year, $15M contract for the trading team.

I don't see us doing this. The Vikings' offense was the reason they went 13-4. A one-year, $30M cap hit is ugly for us given how we need to pay Bosa and Aiyuk. A one-year, $15M cap hit is a lot prettier but the Vikings would then be taking on a huge dead cap hit and would need serious compensation to make it worth it. Like, Trey Lance and a pick type compensation.

I just don't see it. I think we're comfortable rolling with only $10M being spent at the QB position.

Mike Florio won't let this die. He has 2017 Kyle stuck in his head and won't let go. He also thought Mac Jones was Kyle's guy and thought fan pressure was what made him change his mind. I pay no attention to anything he says.
