Jake Moody-K-Michigan 3rd Round 2023 Draft

Piniero 89% sounds better than Moody 50%. They don't want Greg Joseph back. Which is surprising. It's a pretty low bar though. You should be able to get something better here. By a lot.

I get signing Pineiro… but I just can't help but think about how I turned the 2022 Falcons/Panthers game on here in Charlotte when it went to OT and he blew TWO easy game-winners… as well as 2019 when he had a chance to be a hero for the Bears again against the Chargers (after doing it against the Broncos) and also blew it…

Again, I get it. There aren't great kickers to choose from. But those three moments kind of stick out in my mind. He's also a free agent who's been with several different teams for a reason.

He's also only 92% from PAT where as Moody was 98%. Which makes no sense… but for a good offense that's only about 1 point every three games that he's missing if that somehow keeps up.

89% can't possibly be worse than Moody. It's impossible.

Hopefully we give Rodrigo B a try. I like those crazy glasses. And since he wears those people know he can't be punched in the face for missing.

All these guys have been with several different teams, they're free agents for a reason. Matt Prater was the best overall choice, an experienced veteran that has kicked in every kind of s**tty condition imaginable but obviously that's out the window now.

I still can't believe Moody wasn't cut immediately after missing that extra point in the Super Bowl. 💯🤷‍♂?😡

I'm surprised Matt Coghlin isn't getting more interest. The 49ers did work him out a year ago.

His college stats were absolute cheeks but they've definitely improved in the USFL/UFL.
