Dre ain't great but saying he's only a minor upgrade over DJ is flat wrong. DJ is terrible. It felt like Goff didn't even look at any other receiver, other then whoever DJ was covering because it was damn near an automatic completion or penalty every throw.

It might have felt like it, but that wasn't the case.

There have certainly been better CBs available in the draft that we have consistently passed on throughout the years.

In the least we won't have opposing coaches making their passing game plans centered around one player eg DJ.
that alone makes it an upgrade. Will still hold out hope we can get old man Sherman just to pad depth.
