I thought that while the dead money is prorated onto the next year for the trading team it gets distributed among the remaining years of the contract for the receiving team.

So take 10.5mil off each of his remaing three years.

2021 - 26.5mil
2022 - 29mil
2023 - 18mil

So yeah, 73-74mil over 3 years.

Pure fantasy stuff. GB not taking on 31mil dead cap.

Only way this happens is if Rodgers really digs in. Don't see it happening and they aren't going to send him to us considering how it could very likely bite them in the ass.

a 32 year old Rogers might get more but not a 37 year old Rogers.

I disagree. Rodgers will still get more than Stafford. He is coming off an amazing MVP season and shows no signs of slowing down. Stafford may get a 1st. Rodgers would cost at least that and most likely much more

i think he loves them secretly, it was his team, he just pretends to hate them now because they didn't pick him and he in greenbay now, but i bet he would come here in a heart beat
