A second round pick and maybe a fourth is what I would offer.

I'd give them a first and next years second imo.
We'd have to go all in for a short 2-3 year sb window but the nfc is wide open.

I'm speaking from an old guy's perspective though.

I suspect 2 first rounders at minimum. Yes he is old but he's literally the MVP. He can play another 2-3 years at a very high level.

I like Wilbon but that's most likely a hot take like he does on PTI, I never heard him breaking anything

Let's hope thoughts become things. Rodgers and SF are a match made in heaven.

Do you think Rodgers made his play because he felt that there was a clear opening on the 49ers QB spot?
And more important there´s rumors about Watson, Stafford or even a rookie QB.
Honestly, if the goal is to win now, he´s the best option quite easely. He is maybe the most talented QB ever, was the MVP this season and won´t cost as much draft capital as Watson.
The question still is why would the Packers trade him even in the AFC?

TBH I think what Rodgers did was an idle threat rather than an "I want out" move.
It's certainly taken some attention away from the Packers failure to reach the SB yet again.
If he can scare the FO into doing things more his way it will be a smart move for him.
