Let's face it, he hasn't had the best the best QBb play either. Tua was horrible last season and Waddle still was their leading receiver. Waddle wasn't that far off from Jefferson who only had 2 TD's season.
Lol, you're really reaching there 😂 Let's not forget Tua was solid for a few years. I see Waddle as an above average WR and could be really good in the right system with a good QB. Idk if he's necessarily a game changer all on his own. I'd love to have Waddle but to Phoenix's point we can allocate that 28M in FA and keep our picks
How am I reaching, when Waddle has Jefferson beat by touchdowns with 6 and Jefferson with 2. Jefferson only had 1048 yards this pass season to Waddles 910 yards. How is that reaching? Tua was straight up horrible this past season which should factor in Waddles production. Again how is that reaching?
Bro go look at Max Brosmer and JJ McCarthey stats. Tua was bad but not THAT bad. They went for 2900 yards 11TDs to 16Ints. Jefferson probably has the most prolific start to a WRs career ever with multiple QBs. Tuas not good but he has made the pro bowl the QBs JJ was working with shouldn't even be backups. To compare Waddle to Jettas is beyond reaching.
Again why are you talking about the past and what they accomplished. That's like saying the 9ers are better than the Seahawks right now because we won 5 Super Bowls in the 80's and 90's.
I just pointed that QB obviously affects the production of a WR. I know how bad McCarthy was this past season I'm not disregarding that either. But you said I was reaching without any context to your argument.
Mahomes had a QBR of 89 this season and Daniel Jones had a QBR of a 100. Is Jones now worth half a billion dollars?
Let's go ahead and put this in a vacuum strictly to this season…
