This is great news for SF fans that want to retain Trent lol. More guys in the pond.
KC STILL has about $5M to go to get under the cap lol.

They're not making any big time signings.

So what you're saying is the chiefs will look like they did in the super bowl all this year ?

That's what happens when you have to pay a QB $500M lol....getting a rookie QB totally resets what a team can do.

Well we let the guard that Chris Jones owned go.
The Chiefs didn't have their starters and the tackles they had couldn't block the sun out their eyes. They kept those back ups and dumped the starters. It's glorious

Agreed. First thing I thought is that other teams needy of starting tackles could just choose these guys.

Also, At least there are some secondary options for us if Trent ends up going somewhere else. I know a lot of people won't want him because of the Achillies but he is only 30 years old and one hell of a left tackle. I know there is a decent chance he won't even be ready to go for week 1. But if you could lock him up on a multi-year deal for relatively cheap due to his injury, he might become a real steal. I definitely prefer Trent but it does make me feel a little better there are some other options out there if we lose out to another team.
