can we afford Jones?
I really think we need a veteran guard, I don't feel comfortable with Aaron Banks and another rookie/Brunskill as our starting Guards

Ambry Thomas looked like he a bust until he played a couple of games. Our coaching staff look to hold back alot of our rookies last year, including Trey Lance. I think they were only going to bring Banks in if Tomlison got hurt. Banks played that RG spot perfectly in college and I think they didnt want him start at LG get messed up with his technique. I dont know but im hoping thats the case, but Banks is for sure going to be our RG so lets be optimistic haha

I like MVS a lot. Depends on the money and length of the deal though. We get him on a good deal and bring back Key I would be happy

and sign Chandler Jones. Wonder if Chandler Jones wants to play with us and would take a really reasonable difference.
What it sounds like from Jones' comments is that he was so close to breaking the sack record and he wants to go to a team that will help him get to that number again. I think he sees how good our defensive unit is, we have a need for him and this is the best place for him.

Chandler isn't happening. No way they could afford him even if he took a discount.

Sure we could. It would take alot of restructuring and forecasting the increase in cap space over the next few years. But we definitely could

This. Now we have 2 cbs in the top 30. Ward did better than I thought last year so he may be able to perform better with our pass rush helping him out more

Hey look at that we signed a cb, weird how that works

There is zero chance we get Gilmore after we signed Ward. Onto a pass rusher or a guard I guess

If Jones wants to come to us it depends entirely on how much of a discount he's willing to give
Can't see him being less than 10mil though and that's with a very generous discount.
Highly highly unlikely

John giving up a $15M TV deal to stay in a competitive environment and then doing nothing in the competitive environment. Has anyone checked him for signs of CTE.
John has helped us get to a SB and an NFCCG in the last 3 years after spending the first two rebuilding from top to bottom.
Seems our fans are the ones needing checked for CTE. His approach has built a contender of a roster without having to overpay out the ass for so called Tier 1 FA's.

LOL. Lynch and the FO have done a nice job but in the end, their misses on top draft picks, moderate targets in free agency and 1954 team building strategies/scheme remain just enough to stay competitive but not be in position to actually win a ship. I want to win a ship.

Wow. The lowest ranked of the lot. Now this is an actual overpay for sure. Right position, wrong player.

The Lions signed a DJ Chark for a one year $12 million contract. The receiver pay scale is skyrocketing this year
