He's an upgrade over Dwelley and Woerner. That's the point.

It would be nice if that were true, however, he would take snaps from younger guys who need time to develop, particularly Woerner. That having been said, it doesn't hurt to kick the tires.

I don't think he really is at this point in his career...rather have Woerner get more reps.

Would rather have Jordan Reed

Seriously? Walker at his best was better than Reed at his best.

Okay…. Wtf does that matter? One is 37 the other is 30. Even though Reed retired I'm sure he still adds more of a threat than Walker does currently. That would be like saying we should sign Justin Houston instead of say Carl Lawson cause f**king Houston was better than Lawson has been.

Well Reed isn't an option anymore, so if you're signing a TE Walker is a quality vet.

He's a vet. I don't think anyone knows if he's a quality player anymore. And when I originally posted about Reed it was 3 months ago before he announced his retirement. But s**t if Tebow can be signed to play TE anyone can.

He made 3 straight pro bowls and then had injury issues. If hes 100% recovered theres a chance he can still be pretty good.

Lol ya'll take any former Niner even if he's 50 acting like he's 25

Dude has had a combined 25 catches over the last 3 yr.

I like Woerner a lot. He handles himself well for a guy who had no off-season last year.

He's not injured.

I know that but if you know Walker he's always and I mean always injured every year. So, I would not want another player signed that's going to miss at least a few games this year. If he comes in the for minimum or close to it I'm game

Yeah, I'm not giving him any real GTD cash...if he wants to play for the vet min sure. Dude is 37 is constantly injured (like you said) and will take snaps away from some young TEs.

I'm meh about signing him, but I'm assuming we do.
I'm not sure if people realize we are getting 2021 and not 2013, 2014 Delanie Walker.

So he's not gonna be our starting kick returner?
