I hope he gets to play a little bit and wasn't just false hope like Marcus Lattimore. If this dude every gets healthy he is the answer to our WR problems. Dude is a bigger, faster, more agile Delanie Walker type player. Kyle would drive people nuts with all the dual threat players we have now and the size/speed this dude brings

Agree

Would be a great shot in the arm if he does.
Didn't this dude shut down his Twitter account right after the ACL? Ignore the noise. Just focus, kid.
Giving him the same treatment im giving Dee Ford. Alert me when guy makes it through camp and into an actual game. I'm sure he'll look like a HOF'er in camp

WOULD you agree that this could be HURD'S LAST HURRAH ??

I would think so. Won't surprise me if he's like Jet. Came back but not the same before injury. Wish him the best though. Injury dealt him a bad hand thus far.

Probably. They aren't going to keep him around forever. Unlike Ford and Verrette who bot proved that they can play at a high level when healthy, Hurd has proved nothing. One pre season game doesn't mean squat.

Waste of a roster spot. They are just hoping to catch lightening in a bottle but it's not going to happen.
how about we stop drafting high risk injury players. What a novel idea

Yeah, but it's better than hoping for Tim Tebow at TE.

Lol at least Tebow Is out there working and getting after it. I think I'd rather have Tebow in a heartbeat over Turd.

In a world of stupid takes....this is impressively bad.

LOL. In what world is being out of the league for six seasons considered "getting after it" after a token camp invite from a former coach?

And I don't get and I'll NEVER get the motivation to s**t on injured players, as if tearing an ACL was a choice.

Hurd's injuries have prevented him from honing his craft. That back injury then an ACL means he's been resting/rehabbing the past two seasons, not refining his route running. For a player that has played WR for only one season, he has a lot of catching up to do.

I think at this point, the only realistic upside is that he can be a decent #4 or #5 WR. I don't think he'll ever live up to his draft status.
