Was looking forward to the Samuels, Aiyuk, Taylor, Hurd, Jennings, Bourne and Kittle show - fireworks!!!! Oops forgot Mostert, McKinnon and Coleman; I guess we'll have to wait until next year for the complete package, the league will be in TROUBLE. Go Niners!!!

His pre existing condition is he cannot ever stay healthy, whether it be the pros or college.
Huh? He only had a hamstring injury in college, in 2016, he played in 7 games, not sure that qualifies him as injury prone or always injured.
Should have mentioned HS as well
Sr year of HS only 1 game played due to shoulder injury
Had some concussion issues at TEN
Tore his knee up at Baylor and had to have surgery
Has broken his back and torn his ACL his first 2 years in the pros and not played a down .
He's about as injury prone as they come

We will just have to wait till next year. In the meantime excited to see Jennings, Tavon (if he makes it) and finally a healthy Taylor and McKinnon. All is not lost. Next year, Hurd will be where McKinnon and Taylor are now.

file him in the Jet category, but him not making lots of money. Him making the roster and playing a regular season game would be best case scenario.

Well, at least we have Ward and AA to support him.

Unfortunate truth.

Apparently every a year the 9ers need a designated 2-year injured player returning to action. Trent Taylor, Jerick McKinnon and 2021 will be Hurd.

And if it stays consistent, It's like an extra top draft pick every year!!

That's certainly a positive way of looking at it!

As a Niners fan, we can write him off. The odds of someone missing every game in the first two NFL seasons due to injury and come back to be a major contributor is slim to none.

I'm still super bummed. Hurd was my guy. I literally called it and said Hurd would be the pick in my group chat with friends. He was the purest reason why I think people would have been surprised with the talent we had compared to what the masses thought of our WR core.
The only positive I can think of is that maybe Hurd will be super cheap on his second contact and we can keep him longer. But I'm still really bummed out.

Yeah I was looking forward to watching him. There's so many things he could do. So many possible packages. I was and am bummed about it.
It's atleast nice to hear alot of preliminary optimism coming out from camp about our other guys. Aiyuk, Taylor, Pettis, and Bourne all seem to be having strong camps and Jennings has gotten some call outs as well.
