Only one way i could see Hurd still here next yr is if this season blows up with covid either before starting or once started. In that case....i guess I could see Hurd get another shot next yr...but another WR would have to be drafted/FAed/ traded for. With his luck, something else happens next yr. so if this season gets played in its entirety , then i agree this is Hurds last one here. If the season is wiped out....maybe he's back here one more time. Still we'd have to have an insurance WR just in case.

Hurd won't be cut, he's on his rookie deal, which is cheap, we gave McKinnon a 3rd chance after 2 knee injuries, we'll give Hurd a chance in 2021. People need to stop overreacting, injuries happen every day.

Yeah it's just a bunch of fake ass people hiding behind their phones or computer screens. Some of the stuff these people say they'd never say to your face. This website is my only social media. Even people on here are way out of line with their thought process on an injured person. It's just sad. It's not like the dude is a POS and deserves hate.

Just hope he can live and learn. As really he got cut from the TN Volunteers over not being a team player. Just hope he can mature.

Feel sorry for the kid. Unlike some poz out there. He won't be cut because of his potential and talent. Niners will keep him and hope he manages to recover. Anyone blaming him or the front office are morons. Luck or fate can be cruel. Stay strong and don't get frustrated Jalen.
This does open the door for Jauan and Poindexter. I look at Poindexter in the same light as Bourne. Improving each year. Although he has more tools than Bourne has, taller and way faster than him.

It sucks but it's pretty much a given that Hurd will never play a single snap in a regular season game with the Niners.

There have been niners on both sides of the spectrum that sometimes make it after starting off with injuries and others don't. So I think it is premature to say that he will never take a single snap as a niner. Right now it is up to him. Will he get frustrated or does he have some dog left in him. If the talent is there, the niners will keep him around till they find someone better.
Especially since it is season ending, just put him on IR so that we won't count against the 53 man roster.
