I'd be fine with Landry or Robinson. With Garcon and Goodwin our outside receivers are set for the next 2 years.
Edge goes to Robinson though because he's a better red zone threat. 14 TD's in his breakout year can't be overlooked.

what you talkin bout willis? Landry ran like a 4.77 40 at the combine...dude is slow as s**t.
Landry is purely a slot WR (a very good one) and IMO I'm completely fine with Trent Taylor in that role...that little s**t is a 3rd down monster.
They have the same amount of TDs and Allen did that with 186 LESS targets. He's bigger, faster, and is a better red zone threat. We need a outside WR and Landry isn't that.
pro-day numbers ah okay..... Landry isn't fast at all you can see that s**t on Sundays.
IF we're talking about pro-days Allen ran a sub 4.5![]()
WR Allen Robinson having big day at #PennState pro day. 42 VJ, 11 BJ, sub-4.5 40. Stock will be up after today. #NFLDraft

Allen is also coming off a torn ACL.
and won't command the long-term contract that Landry does to play in the slot. He's gonna be 7 months removed from it come FA. We need a red-zone threat and Landry hasn't been one of those so far in his career.
Landry had 9 receiving TD's this year.

Posting combine numbers as your argument, epic fail. Now you're reaching.

Allen has just one season in 4 where he managed to score more than 6 TD's. He's pretty inconsistent.

I'm sorry but that's the truth...you think they make up magic numbers on a players speed? You're the one that said Landry is faster which isn't true. Not even close. only epic fail was that post.
Landry is quick (not fast), a great route-runner, and get's YAC...he's damn good BUT Allen is bigger, faster, also a very good route-runner, AND wait for it.....isn't just a slot WR.
He's scored more TDs per target compared to Landry and isn't not close.
I'll take a cheap Taylor in the slot AND Robinson vs Landry.

If bill bellichick stayed up at nights to game plan for guarding (Landry) as he admitted to, I want that type of player on my team. Someone that stresses coordinators out.

Chicken or the egg...
Landry has put up numbers with 3 different QB's...did it with Jay Cutler of all people....

His play-callers and QB are pretty inconsistent as well. Landry should have 10+ more TDs based on the volume of targets he's got in his career so far.
regardless we don't need a slot WR.

There's something called combine speed and game speed. Pads come on, it's different.

And what's with the slot argument? Putting the slot term on someone is just to label them. You can put multiple people in the slot on the same play, it's called creating more available space between the lines.

If you read back to my initial statement, I said he's a faster version of anquan boldin. Didn't compare his speed to Allen's, smh.
