I mean doesn't always start with a 1st rd pick ? I really don't see how Juilo would command a 1st when he's heading towards being 30 and wants to be one of the highest paid WRs in the NFL (who's injured more than you'd like).

I guess if Cooks goes for a 1st (which IMO is awful value, I mean retarded)

We have too many WRs already... Gotta be a WR and pick lower than 1st for Julio or bust.

I'd rather go the route of not having a "number 1" receiver and let the QB make our receivers look great and have them leave in Free Agency. And never use to much cap at the most reliant position in professional sports.
They're not trading him.

That's what's the Pats do. The only thing I'd say is, I dont mind having a #1 WR and paying him like one, but I want it to be a guy we draft. Get nice production under the rookie contract then pay him.

It just doesn't make sense to invest a huge amount of your cap on a position that needs the o-line and qb to do their job. Jimmy picked apart the best defense in the NFL last year with Bourne, Goodwin and Taylor. I'm very comfortable with any receiver on the field with Jimmy and Shanahan running the show.

We're discussing trading for him, no one says they are trading him.

Falcons gonna have the highest paid QB and if Julio gets a new deal the top paid wr depending what OBJ gets. Nice way to screw your cap

They're stupid for having a franchise QB, WR and RB. Fire the GM asap!

lol right the whole point is to hope you can pay those positions at some point....they need to keep drafting well, so that they can have a competitive team while still being able to pay those stud players.
