I think niners wanted a 5th round pick specifically to move up to grab Williams and still be able to have a 5th rounder. Because they didn't want to give up late round picks they had to give next year's 4th. Denver needed to throw something in to even out the compensation, and I think it's just coincidence that it happened to be a RB.

Dude has acceleration that the Niners haven't had at the HB position in a minute. Charlie Garner maybe? If he has decent hands and the team remembers how to throw a few screen passes or wheel routes, the Niners offense will be able to score from anywhere again. I'm loving that some speed is finally being added to this team again

Shanny does not have the A type personality the Lynch does, but it sure is fun listening to him talk about football. These two guys are going to put together something special here.
