Good pick. I'll gamble on idiots in the 4th.

spoken as a wise man that's the time to get them, nice upside if it works and the downside isn't going to kill you ,its those round 3 filers that are the head scratchers.

Hyde
Davis
Harris
Hightower
Williams
Bibbs

That's a crowded backfield.

Another pick I love!!!

Played only 9 games in 2016 and still rushed for 1,400 yards!!!

why did we trade for Bibbs then? one of these guys wont even make the team

This!?!?!

1. Because Harris showed in a non contact drill that he still can't hold onto the ball consistently

2. Because every RB on the roster has injury concerns

3. Because even with everyone healthy, Hyde is the only true dependable ball carrier

4. Tim Hightower is old and really only there as insurance and a veteran presence in the position room

5. Because when a talent like Joe Williams falls this far...you are crazy if you don't pick him especially when your offense is predicated on having 2 legit threats at the RB position

6. He is a homerun hitter of the highest order
They said he quit football whatever welcome and hopefully u dont quit again in a few months or years...
Really like this pick. Perfect running back for this system. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he ends up being a starter for us down the line. Good job Lynch!
If anybody hasnt watched his highlight reel then check it. Its as impressive as any rb in the draft considering how short the sample size is. His ceiling is top 5 rb in the nfl. Hope the 49ers did their hw on his history as the draft story sounds a little bit loosely constructed to fit a favorable narrative. Love the pick though.

I hope Bibbs takes that 4th spot. If anyone gets hurt I'm sure Harris will still be available to help fill in
But what I want to know is how does Rascal feel about this.
Someone said his mom was wearing a niner shirt earlier before we drafted him.

Im good with drafting Williams, I get the value and how he plays an important role in Shanny's offense, but I'm not understanding why were trading away valuable picks to get these 2 RB's.

Harris is gone. How the heck do you fumble in a non contact drill. Thats like going to a Job interview and telling them you suck at this job, but they should hire you cause you are a hard worker and you will jack things up everyday.

I think the Bibbs trade was to get a rb, and more ammo for this draft to get Williams, and other players we may be targeting.

Man, is this guy FAST

I was screaming for Dalvin Cook in the draft section on the forum for a while now... But I think someone mentioned Williams to me, when I said I just wanted a true home run hitter from the RB position.

Yup Williams has that break away speed. Luckily he fell and we jumped on him... but kudos to John for still taking the guy, right after we traded for a RB.
