Ray Ray Armstrong and Thad Lewis didn't do it for you?

I thought that was a nightmare damn it
To be fair, it was nice to re-sign Ian Williams. And we got him for a good price as well. Still, I hope there's some more news today!

I want their 31st pick OR a 2nd this year and next (depending on playing time)....Broncos have zero leverage in this. We don't have to get rid of Kap and have a butt load of cash with him still on the team.

True, and that's probably what the Niners will say at the negotiating table. Comes down to how bad the Broncos want him.

Definitely a bit depressed after Day 1. I really expected the ONE signing by the FO to make the Fan base a bit optimistic.

Does anybody really know from a solid source whether or not we actually made a competitive bid on a FA who turned it down to elsewhere?

I think I'm starting to believe the theory that between the perception of the FO being fairly inept and Players not being fond of Chip Kelley, it has made the 49ers a place very few want to come to. The Draft may be our only hope and I'm losing confidence in Baalke's drafting prowess.

the niners are never active on day one. never have been. what is so shocking about it? whether it is right or wrong is a matter of everyones opinion. but the fact is that the niners are never very active on day one of free agency and people who are raging angry about it only have themselves to blame in my opinion. for a while i thought maybe they would change things up a bit but that is not the way it is done so you can either kick the cat or just deal with it

I thought they signed Torrey Smith Day one last year. (That's off the top of my head. I believe there have been several others.)

The Broncos will pay up, they are desperate as fxxk now.

I agree, if we press them hard enough they will part with a 2nd rd pick. It's at the bottom of the 2nd rd too, so still basically a 3rd. But I don't see us getting anything higher than a 2nd for Kap. Denver is the perfect option, they desperately need a veteran starter.

lol they would never do that. Just sign RGIII and draft a QB
Yeah Kaep a goner now. I think as of right now, this is a 1-15 49er Roster but hey atleast we have a "Top 5 GM"

Kap is easily the best option. Pay up.

The Broncos 2nd is like an early 3rd. They'll end up paying because there is nothing better for them out there.

According to Silver, 49ers likely want a 2nd round pick for Kap

That's a trade that nobody's going to make. Who in their right mind would give up a 2nd for damaged goods..both mentally and physically.

Not true. When you look at the options out there and the money being thrown around Kap is a good deal. Their 2nd is essentially an early 3rd rounder. Kap is a MUCH better option for the broncos then any of the other QB's out there. He could step in and immediately be an upgrade over what they had last year.

already ordered my Lewis jersey lol

Already pre ordered my Lance Dunbar jersey

If he's healthy I wouldn't mind bringing him in cheap...I remember watching him against the Falcons last year he had like 10 catches for 100 yards (had him in fantasy that week )

He reminds me of Theo Riddick our OC and Chip would love to get him moving around on the field.

That's a great point. If we're parting with Kap, definitely need to make sure we position ourselves to land Wentz or Goff.

I think there's a good chance we can sit at 7 and still land Goff, but I'd watch out for the Rams. They might make a big move into the Top 10 to grab a QB. They have nothing at the position.

That Denver 2nd could move the 49ers up to Pick #4 pretty much. That would guarantee a QB or an elite prospect like Buckner or Ramsey.

All this cap space and the do this. Such 49ers...

Me too. Is just so fxxking pathetic is unreal!!

What we have is a bunch of amateurs running this organization if you can even call it that.

Nothing much we can do about the ownership since they won't bloody sell, but I don't expect any improvement until Baalke is fired. Hopefully, when the new GM comes in he will fire Chip Kelly and hire a proper NFL head coach too.

If they can fire Baalke by the end of this season and Kelly the end of next season, may be, just may be we will see some signs of revival 3 years from now. If not, the 9ers won't stand a chance. The 9ers now are like the Raiders and the Jets in the past. Yes, and those 2 teams are better than us now.

3rd and Talib.

Player for player trades are rare. They're not giving us Talib. He's 30 years old anyway.

Rare but they happen. Talib is far better than anything we currently have.
If we sign at least an ok G I'll be
