I would love for the 49ers to land Garrard but I have a strong feeling he will end up on the Dolphins. He would definitely be an upgrade for both teams.

Garrard's not the greatest but he's way better than Smith. We should pick him up and have some kind of a veteran QB on our team.

If getting Garrard means getting rid of Tolzien then I am totally against this move.
In fact Im getting angry just thinking about it.

I'm willing to pay that price.

it's probably too late in the season to expect Garrad to come in here and play better than Alex. If this was a month or 2 ago i'd love for him to come here on a 1 year deal. that fact and the fact that we can't release Tolzien for 2 weeks points to the 9ers not signing Garrad. Although I guess we could keep 4 QBs through week 1 and put Tolzien on the PS just before the 2nd game?

Yeah definitely not great but I think he's better and more consistent than Alex.

I'd swap Alex Smith for him anyday. So would Harbaugh, but it's a little too late now.

There would be absolutely no point in us signing him. It won't happen, and that's a good thing.

Jacksonville better start off 5-0 or it will be them. All they have to do is beat the Titans, Saints and Bengals at home while taking taking road games at Panthers and Jets to have a shot at going 6-10.

Cracks me up that there are actually people saying they dont want him. Absolutely hysterical.
I mean, who would want a pro bowl QB who has led his team to the playoffs when you have a top 5 biggest bust of all time?

They just drafted Gabbert. They'll weight that one, and will probally listen to offers.
