Rather do a 2-year with 3rd year option. If he does hella good for one year, we have him locked up for a 2nd year, if he sucks, cut his @$$. Win-win

He is a in-the-box type safety who struggles in coverage. Strictly a SS, would rather have Mays there.

But Mays can play FS, he did in college, and he certainly has the range to play there.
