We weren't going to sign Nnamdi, move on. Travis LaBoy was most likely never going to be re-signed either. Get a grip on the reality that is the 49ers free agency this year and have faith that the FO has a plan and are doing exactly what they need to in order to build this team back into a competitive franchise instead of just signing every high-priced FA available.

If Bill Walsh said Harbaugh was going to be the next great head coach in the NFL, I'm going to trust that opinion and give the man more than five seconds of free agency to prove himself.

To be fair, everyone, including all of the analyst was drinking the Singletary kool-aid. Only a couple of us, myself included

, thought that smash mouth thing was a stupid idea for us.

People aren't lashing out at JH, it's toward the Yorks and Baalke. I do trust that we can be a good team with Harbough as the coach, just not this year. Nnamdi probably couldn't have helped us much with all the other problems we have.

. There is some merit to certain FA's not wanting to sign here due to the instability at quarterback and the general lack of success. However, SF is not some bottomless pit that players avoid at all costs. This is a business. It comes down to money. Even the best teams lose players in FA due to money. Baas and Takeo left for more money. LaBoy was not even offered a contract by the Niners. No one is at fault here. There are very sensible reasons why each of these players were not retained that has been explained ad nauseam.

I agree. Matt Roth would be ideal at SAM linebacker. We actually put in a claim for him when he got waived by the Dolphins, but he was awarded to the Browns. Haven't heard anything regarding potential suitors yet.
