The 49ers are in the mix for Antonio Cromartie, according to the NFL Network.
The Niners have pulled out of the Nnamdi Asomugha chase, but still have a hole at corner. They've been linked to Cromartie, Chris Carr and could also bring back Nate Clements at a cheaper rate.

Am I the only one who feels NFL network should not be treated as a source? Lacansuckacock and Lombardi are pretty much wrong at every turn. They are never right when it comes to the 9ers. One thing I have learned about Harbaugh is things are never the way you think they are. when we signed him, the draft, now free agency. The 9ers are cloke and dagger smoke and mirrors. we just need to watch it play out. we can judge it when it's done

I may very well want this guy OVER nnamdi! He's gonna be cheaper, younger, more athletic and he has a chance to Really mature into one of the very best corners in the league. He's a guy who some maturity could do wonders for!
