Would Gerhart be comparable to McClain? If so, does that translate to success for McClain in Harbaugh's system?

.....Sidney Rice, we'd finally have a TRUE #1 RECEIVER!!!!!
He'd have an 800 yard 6 td season with Alex Smith throwing to him
Which is probably true, but in Harbaugh's TE friendly offense Vernon Davis would still be pretty much the go to guy. So that would be good production by Rice.
Last year d's clamped down on VD, If we had a true WR threat, then it would open up a huge opening for our weapons.
What is this "True" bulls**t? Someone who's already succeeded because they have had multiple years with a successful QB? Sidney Rice was nothing before Brett Farve had a ridiculously successful year with the Vikings. What makes you think he comes to a team with no QB and elevates it? He wasn't able to do that on the s**tty Vikings before they had good QB play.
Well Brett Favre's best year was when he had Sidney Rice.
Child please.
Careful with your words.
So you deny it then??
So what about TO making Jeff Garcia into an All-Pro??
Or
Andre Johnson with David Carr.....David frickin Carr LOL.
Even if Rice doesn't work out with Smith, maybe he'll work with Kaepernick.
I am careful with my words.
Uh yeah I do deny that Farve's best year was with Sidney Rice thats ridiculous he had consecutive league MVPs and a championship season I don't see how you could argue it gets any better than that. His most efficient may have been with the Vikings that year but he should get a majority of the credit for that.
Jeff Garcia had probowl seasons without TO
What about Andre Johnson with David Carr?
I'm not discrediting Favre either, I'm just pointing out that there is also two sides to your argument.
And what about Carr and Johnson, I thought the main point to this argument was about Smith and having the same production year in and year out from our receivers?? Carr can get a 1,000 yards outta Johnson, I have no doubt Smith could with Rice.
And "Child Please" we all know what that really means in the words of Ocho Cinco, my reasons for saying careful with your words.

I don't think Chad means anything malicious by it and neither do I. I just don't believe Sidney Rice is going to turn Alex Smith into a good starting QB.
