The problem is Phil Taylor and Corey Liuget are the only NT prototype players in the higher rounds, both no where near #7 overall.
I do express your concern with the situation. What happens if another team matches our Transition offer? I'm not very knowledgeable about the transition tag.

if tagged with transition we receive NO COMPENSATION if signed away.

I thought we get the roundwe signed him in..with baas we get a second but since franklin since he was a fa we get nothing right?

With the transition tag the players current team can match the other teams offer if they wish to retain services.

Thats only if you give a RESTRICTED free agent the second to lowest tender.
