Perfect #2 Reciever For Cheap!!!

I don't get why everyone is so high on Josh Morgan. We just find any way to be accepting of mediocrity. How many times have we seen him not even TRY to get to the ball. It's sickening. He's slow. I mean, I AGREE that he is good for a 6th round pick. But come on.

We need an upgrade. Speed, strength, EFFORT.

In every game Morgan half-assed a route, alligator armed a catchable ball, or gave up on the play.

Then why do we want him? Are you saying we don't need a guy who can break away for deep yards after the catch?

I'd much rather see what morgan can do being thrown more balls(he's rarely included), and with a better quarterback of course.

Plaxico would be a god send.
I'd rather draft Vern Glenn in Rd 2!

Cant. Rd 2, we goin QB
Recieving core is good. We just need a QB that can read a defense and have pocket presence.

Considering the QB situation, Morgan had a solid year.

He had less catches for more yards in 2010 compared to 2009. And look at the situational stats:

http://www.nfl.com/players/joshmorgan/situationalstats?id=MOR166910

Morgan was outstanding at Own 21-50 range. 9 catches for 20+ more yards, and 2 catches for 40+ more yards in that range.

We can do far worse than having Morgan as the #2. If you can give Crabtree a break because of the QB situation, why can't the same be said for Morgan?

I don't disagree with the notion that we need to get faster and taller at the positions, but Morgan is a a capable WR. With a new offensive staff, I can see him elevating his game to the next level.

In no way do I hate the guy. He's got potential.

But how is what I said not true? He gives up on plays!!

When is the last time you've seen him lay out? Hell, when have you EVER seen him lay out?

All I'm saying is that something like that should be unacceptable. Unfortunately, we've been so bad for so long we try to hold on to the hope of someone being good. If he was on another team, he'd be buried in the depth chart for that.
