Morgans dumb? He's not the one that shoot himself in the leg

Receivers still need someone to throw at them!

lol that was a good one
It seems alot of us have forgotten about Ziegler and Williams. I'd like to see what these guys can do when they're actually given a chance to play. Williams and Ziegler are NOT the big target that Plax is, but they haven't been out of football for a couple seasons either.

Sing's regime has really done a number on this team. We have several players on offense that are fairly unknown.
With Morgan's long strides they have had him running many vertical routes the last couple of years, but as he has shown a few times this last season he can really develop into being a very good YAC receiver which will help him out in the WCO we are installing.
I expect our receivers to respond well now that we have an aggressive, offensive-minded HC.
Plaxico might use his gun again if we tell him he's a number 2 receiver.

why is this Plaxico Burress thread still in NT?
Morgan is one of the better blocking Wide Receivers in the league and with Crabtree and Davis being the top targets, he just gets what little play he can. I don't see a reason in changing him out.

I hope they do, because Crabtree and Morgan have just 55% receiving percentage.

Receiving percentage

That's not clutch.

Don't forget about the young WR coaches! Finally guys who could actually run the drills they teach. Plaxico is a realistic stopgap, sign him to a 1 year deal with a team option for a 2nd year, just like Vick. If we don't like him we can dump him. It would give us more time to develop Williams as well.
34 years old and fresh out of prison....hmmmmm how about no thank you.
