If he wants that kind of QB, it wouldnt surprise me if we draft Cam Newton. Cam Newton is every bit as good as Tebow was in college, talent-wise, but they would just want to be sure of his work ethic. I think Harbaugh will have a good gauge of that because he knows what it takes to be a QB in the NFL.
hardball harbaugh can do whatever he wants as far as i'm concerned

Dixon has performed fairly well and given a few years developing behind a QB guy like Harbaugh he could do some real damage in 2 years or so. If anything if he has shown real progress he could become quite a bargaining chip when the next group of QB hungry teams come along in a few years.
Also a fun fact to throw some people of if they haven't already Wiki'ed Josh Johnson; he is the cousin of Marshawn Lynch and JaMarcus Russel.

ya or we could get Jordan Palmer he's 6'5 233 almost the exact same as his brother Carson 6'5 235. So he must be just as good. Plus they both played out of the same vagina.

I hope you think you're the coolest kid on the block because your intelligence and attempted sarcasm is horrifying. Since you clearly don't know the QBs; both of them have similar playing styles and if Harbaugh did such a good job with Johnson he could easily do the same with Dixon.

harbaugh's obviously the qb coaching God we should just get jamarcus russell and tur him into a younger mcnabb.
He's a Bay Area kid too, so i think he'd love to be back here.

Hell yea Dixon would be a popular figure here IMO -- He isn't a superstar but getting a local kid involved in this franchises resurrection would just make Harbaugh's legacy that much crazier.
He won't want Josh Johnson because of his type but because he would know the offense and with the CBA trouble and little camp time, might be the best option

Dixon doesn't know the offense

In case you haven't noticed we will have 3-4 new QBs next year and a new coach. None of them will know the offense.......We have to go with the most talented skill set on the market and if we don't want to give up picks for Johnson then we will be going after Dixon.

If we actually have the intention of starting our veteran pick up next year our best option is McNabb -- he knows the WCO and he actually has the personality and skill set to qualify for the "mentor" title.

Dream WCO/athletic QB depth chart for next year would be
Donovan McNabb
Dennis Dixon/Josh Johnson
Colin Kaepernick/Andy Dalton(a lot of people don't know it but Dalton avg's 5 yards a carry lol).

I've been on Dalton's bandwagon for awhile now. I wouldn't mind taking him with our 2nd rounder or even 3rd if Harbaugh thinks he is gonna be there.Dalton has a good arm, is very mobile and is accurate and smart.

ya I think I'd rather have the guy that threw 70! more TD passes in college with 6 less int's and almost twice as many yards. oh and is familiar with our coach.
