Because I know nothing will happen to Morgan for at least another year we will only be looking for a slot and a deep route WR. K. Williams should start seeing more playing time this season but I think we will want an experienced slot guy like Lance Moore.

As a lot of people say Ginn is nothing more then a situational player and Ziegler, well we don't really know what we have in him so I hope we invest in solid slot receiver to share to time with Williams.

My thoughts too. i'd like us to get that slot guy and relegate Ginn to just gadget plays, decoy roles, KR/PR/ST, and occasionally throw him a bomb.. Williams needs to stop being injured and step up too.

We need a tall Red Zone WR and a speedster that can catch! "Not like Ginn". So I'm thinking Rice or Jackson(red zone) amd Moore or Smith as rout running speedster.

I took a peek at the late day 2/day 3 WRs in the draft. How would it be to go after Tori Gurley(6-5 230) in the 4th or 5th round or DeAndre Brown(6-6 240) in the 5th-6th. Talk about low risk, high reward, we need to think about adding depth at WR if this next season being contract years for Morgan and Ginn, and Ziegler still hasn't totally earned his roster spot yet either.

The one early round WR I would be so stoked for us to grab would be Jerrel Jernigan(5-9 190). I really hope we go young at WR, try and get good theme going and work on the chemistry with our QB draft pick for a year or two.

*Note* even if you shave off an inch and 5 pounds those guys are beasts.

But can he catch a pass? Remember Renaldo Nehemiah? Can he take a hit?

Usain Bolt
Age 24
Height 6 ft 5 in
Weight 207 lb
100m: 09.58 s (WR, Berlin 2009)
150m: 14.35 s (WB, Manchester 2009)
200m: 19.19 s (WR, Berlin 2009)
40 yards: 4.0 (est.)

Six foot five and the fastest guy in the league. He finishes World Cup this year. Coach him up, sign him for 2012.

How's it going Al Davis?

Bill Walsh brought on Nehemiah.

With guys like Freddie Solomon, Dwight Clark, and Mike Wilson in front of him. WHen those guys are your first three receivers and other guys that can catch like Russ Francis, Roger Craig, and Earl Cooper, you can afford to bring in a Renaldo Nehemiah.

the dream would be vincent jackson. can you imagine vincent jackson, vernon davis, michael crabtree, and frank gore all on the field at the same time with andrew luck throwing to them. thats a dream.

Wold you want him on the niners? To me he is a great number two and an average number one. If we would sign him i think it would prevent us from getting a good number one wr. It would improve our wr core but i fear would hurt us in the long run. What do you think?
Yessir. Dude would be an awesome WCO receiver.
Lance Moore

James Jones will make a solid no.2 WR. We aren't getting Vincent Jackson. Would love to get Sidney Rice though - but I doubt we spend that much.
what u guys think of him as our number 2?
Arnaz Battle > Santana Moss
He's a number 3 at best. He just benefited from the Skins having no other options at all in the passing game at WR. I think he would be very nice in the slot. He does drop a lot of passes b/c he catches the ball with his body instead of with his hands.

He can't catch.

+ Jones doesn't give us an upgrade over Morgan. I say sign a tall bodied good hands WR or none at all.

Good hands and a reliable WR.

Good hands? I've only seen this guy play 3 or 4 times and he's dropped relatively easy catches in every single one! Just what is the definition of "good hands"? Granted, he made a couple of tough catches as well, but that's what's so frustrating about some receivers (incl a couple already on our team, but that's for another discussion).
