They should definitely put in a claim. I thought he was playing safety though? Or was that another season?

This season Allen has started seven games and intercepted three passes.

Aside from Shawntae Spencer, Allen has more interceptions than the 49ers entire secondary combined.

At minimum, he should get a look.
i live in south florida and am stuck to watching dolphins games and jason allen is GARBAGE!!!!!!!!! yes we need cbs but we dont need more garbage ones

Good point.

Dolphins went as far as dumping a 27 year old CB for a 35 year old CB. That in itself proves Jason Allen is no good.

I would rather bump Philip Adams above Will James on the depth chart.
Hes way better then t. brown or will james. Ive seen acouple of the dolphins games and he has his good moments and his bad ones but im tell you he would be a nice nickle corner and he is still young i would take himover some of our week corners anyday...Plus he plays cb saftey maybe if we dont resign goldson since hes over rated and wants more money then hes worth we could try him there..

like musclecars said, if a good dolphins team with a good defense is cutting a 27 yr old cb for a 35 yr old coming off an acl injury you know he sucks. why add more trash to our secondary when we have plenty of it already???

True but the Broncos traded away Alphonso Smith to Detroit for nothing. He was playing like garbage in Denver, but now he's having a great season. Dre Bly was hot trash in Denver. Came to the niners last year and was decent. sometimes a change can help. He should get a look from the niners. Especially with Will James on the roster.

Singletary won't bite, especially if Mike Nolan signed off on the cut.
