Wow, that was fast. Great athletes don't mean good football players.

I only wonder if he could help on kick or punt returns, we have had so many injuries in that position.

I would take a chance just because we need return help and he is fast.

I'd love to take a chance on this kid. He can't be much worse then Jason Hill.

Yea, early 2nd round. Kelly is on IR right now.
Only like the option of him taking return duties with Walker, Ginn and Williams nicked up a bit this year. Could see how receiving pans out. He may be a guy who needs his cage rattled a bit to put it together.

Didn't the Skins take WRs in the first or second round for a few years in a row?
And what do they have to show for it? Santana Moss is still their number one and there's no one else behind him.
Just goes to show, WR is a very tough position to draft.

Never liked him... Really Under performed in the NFL. Malcolm Kelly should have been the guy let go. He is never healthy and never plays. I think Thomas best game was last year vs Saints. He had like 100 yards and 2 TDs I believe. Never has done anything other than that.

Yea I live in DC and this has been one strange story. For some reason they seem to love Malcolm Kelly and planned on him being the starter besides Moss but he's constantly hurt. Shanahan refused to comment on Devin Thomas at all when asked by reporters. Thomas himself said that Shanahan wouldn't talk to him and nobody on the team has ever told him why he is or isn't getting a chance to compete at WR. It's hard to call him bad or good b/c they never have given him a fair chance at WR. I think he has a work ethic problem to a certain extent b/c he's never been able to get on the field.
