Garcia's cap number was above $12,000,000. He was set to make more money than any other Quarterback in the league. All of this while leading the team to a 7-9 record.
The team had no other choice but to cut Garcia after he declined a pay-cut down to $5,000,000.

I disagree. The biggest mistake Dumbahue ever made was not trading TO when he initially showed that he was going to become a cancer.
