Adam Snyder and Alex Boone!

I don't have a problem starting two rookies on the O-line this year. Obviously only if they are ready and deserve the starting jobs. IMO if Davis isn't ready to start from week 1 i don't mind seeing Sims starting.

Our two O-line rookies should have a taste of whats to be expected in the preseson games, we have:

Vikings
Colts
Chargers
Raiders

The first three have very good D-linemen that will test any O-line, Raiders will be another test. These preseason games plus how they come along in training, we'll have a good indication of where they are at.

All so on these teams Mays will get a good look at some of the top passers in the NFL with the likes of:

Favre (if he plays)
Manning
Rivers

We'll get a good indication if Mays can cover if these three decide to go deep.

I don't think the preseason shows you much. Remember JT O'Sullivan, and Thomas Clayton? The perennial preseason heroes that did jack when it really counted.

With that said, I'm not against starting Iupati and Davis. My only hope is that they get the nod ONLY if they're really ready, and not just thrown into the fire and we hope for the best.
