Vasher has lost a step or two, I'm sure he still has a few quality games left, we probably would have signed him when we needed help at almost every position, but now we dont have too many weak spots these days

They really don't have much quality depth at CB to release. That was one off the biggest reasons they drafted Kyle Wilson. Obviously he was BPA and the value was to great to pass up but I'm sure Rex Ryan feels much more comfortable with Wilson at nickle instead of Dwight Lowery. Lowery is still young and has upside but for right now he's a great #4 CB. After those 4 all they have is Coleman, who isn't a very good player but provides them with a decent #5 CB.
Donovan Warren IMO will be moved to FS because of his lack of speed. Right now all they have is FA pickup Brodney Pool at FS and he's had a long history of concussions. I think the Jets view Warren as a possible FS of the future.

Yes, I would certainly like to have Bly back. He is still a good depth player to have..and he has some gas left in that tank; However, he really pissed off Sing with his clowning.

Im glad i saw this topic because I was going to post one on this. I think its a no brainer we get Bly back in here. He was 4 the most part always in position last year. He broke up so many balls that none of our other corners would have gotten to. I think its a mistake if we dont sign him.

The Niners will not make a move until all the holdouts this summer show up in training camp. Spencer earned a spot last year, Clements was having a decent year until he got hurt and the Niners have decent depth behind in T. Brown, K. Paymah, and W. James. Unless one of these guys totally stinks it up in preseason, the Niners probably stand pat until late in training camp after a couple of rounds of cuts.
