Cardinals overpaid for an over the hill 3rd down pass rusher. Although that defence is now very loud. Imagine all the trash talking from Porter, Dockett, Wilson, and Rodgers-Cromartie?

this is what i was worried about.....now this Porter signing will improve their team after losing Dansby. There is now little drop off. They improved as a pash rushing team and maybe got a little worse tackling and coverage.
Great.....now Marshall to the Seahawks would just be NOT GOOD. Every team in our division has tried to get better and we are not. Carr isn't getting better.
We better sign PITTS because then Baas or Rachal would be a very good backup and most likely Baas would leave next year. Our OL would improve and at least if Pitts played RG our rookie RT would be less of a liability. Rachal cannot help much on the right side.
We need to sign Pitts to counter this Porter signing because Davis can't be in to block both games against the cards and a lot of other games for our weak Right side

No kidding. That's alot of hot air coming from one team's defense. All that trash talk will just be more fuel for the O to lay them on their arse!

IDK if anyone wants to talk trash back to Porter though. Ray Lewis tried that once and Porter went to the ravens locker room after the game to call out Ray to a fight. Dude is crazy!

That is if we hopefully fix it through the draft, and I hope we do, cause I'd like to see somebody shut that f**ker's loud mouth (as well as Dockett's).
-I hate Porter so much, our lack of filling the RT spot cost us that game in Miami in 2008, having to watch Porter easily nudge his way through Sims, ending what could have been a winning drive. -And you couldn't help but roll your eyes during that game due to the amount of trash talk Porter was laying on Vernon for four quarters.

No thanks . . . 1 year at 6.0 would have been cool though.

I think he has a good year or 2 left in him. Front load the contract and cut him after 2 years. Overall good move for the cards i think

Dansby> Porter.
Maybe two years ago it was different but Joey has been getting older.

i think with porter u get equal parts sack production and equal part bad tackling/bad coverage. he might sack our qb's a few times next year but sacks are an overrated stat, the real stat is qb pressure, which he didnt fair too well in. its a good name signing for the cards but i dont think it makes their d better than it was last year.
