Seakawks OG Rob Sims Could Be on the Move...

why
I'm wondering if the 49ers would take a shot at him? He has been coached by our new O-line coach, Mike Solari.

I don't know, if only for a 4th round pick than I guess, but hes been often injured.

No way McCloughan will give up a 4th for him. I think they'll see if he gets released or the tender is revoked, then they may show interest.

(I guess as in I wouldn't mind if McCloughan signed him) But your right, I doubt McCloughan signs Sims or any RFA. IMO, I think McCloughan is just too conservative with his picks.
Seattle wouldn't trade him to us anyways.
Niners don't have a good track record in trading a 4th rounder to Seattle for a veteran player. Does anyone here remember the Darrell Jackson deal? I'm sure that McCloughan remembers.
well our new OL coach Solari did work this guy last year..so you never know

Adam_Schefter: Rob Sims has been traded to the Lions. Former Seahawks G Rob Sims now will become the favorite to start at left guard in Detroit.

It was for a 5th round pick from Detroit.

Well, to be fair he had done alot in his career up to that point. Then it died. He sucked though when he came here to San Fran.
