True microfracture surgery is no joke...but that being said, I can't see him being any worse than Chilo was for the majority of last year.

Why not both? Pitts isn't a very long term solution either way. I believe he'll be healthy for this year. But he's still a little on the older side. Bring him in on a 3 year deal, Draft Jerry and let him develop.
