take him for a second rounder instead of risking #13 or #17 on the 3rd or 4th or even 5th best OT in the draft

Pick him up with our second rounder (if possible) Then draft DB/S with #13, then OL with #17 but that's another story :)

EVERYBODY in the draft is a gamble. Gaither is a proven commodity. Gaither > any risk on a draft pick.
Go after Gaither.
Ya, and how much do you pay him?

THE GAITHER TRADE RUMORS ARE A HOAX!!!
Sorry for yelling, for those of you with sensitive.......eyedrums?
The Ravens arent interested in trading him. They just want him to show up to "voluntary" workouts. Check out the link

I really don't get all you guys. He's been in the league and still doesn't have the motivation/desire for football. He's OK, but ask yourself why they're wililng to get rid of him. ...It's because he's not anywhere near where this board continues to put him.
We shouldn't want him. I'm not sure why you all do.
The Ravens would rather have a 2nd or 3rd round pick at his position than him, yet people on this forum keep referring to him as if he's one of the best in the league. He's not. Give it up. He's not wortth a 1st or even 2nd round pick. I wouldn't even want him for a 3rd.
This love for Gaither is way out of line.

yeah if he doesnt have motivation or love for the game even with the good games he had you gotta choose the rookie (unless its bruce campbell). the last time the 49ers did this was marvel smith and before that young upand comming jonnas jennings. if we give up a 1st id be really dissappointed.

I would give up our 49th pick for him. That way we would have the two first round picks to get skilled players.

I think this is funny for one he could be damaged goods and he don't like to work out he doesn't want to go to team OTA he is like Drafting A Davis. but he has a couple yr in so they will have to pay him more. there is no way they should trade a first for him, a second ok. then hope he isn't Jenning all over again.

i think the reason he is not going to OTA is because he knows he is gonna be traded

People were talking about Gaither before those rumors started. How about you ease off on the bold angry caps and stop trying to bully everyone around. This is as valid a topic as any on the board and if you don't want to see it just stick to whatever silly ideas you do like.
