We'll miss him covering kicks and running reverses to beat the Tards on Monday night, other than that Happy Trails. Good guy, but business is business and I didn't see him helping us win too many games last year.

It's doubtful the Seahawks be as inept in the punt return department as the Nines were last season that they'll have to use Battle to return punts.

Always been a step slow. Good luck nonetheless!

Sad to see so many rips on him because he muffed a punt while he had a broken hand and shouldn't have even bee on the field but for a coaches decision.
When he first came to the team he was a very effective returner. I predict he will wind up being a productive #3 guy on a team like Pittsburgh. He would fit well there. If he does leave, I wish him the best. He was a warrior here on the worst team of the decade.

i'll bet anyone, don't matter to me. I believe Battle can contribute on another team. He's got pretty good hands when it comes to receiving. Catching kicks is another story.
he'll probably pull a Cedric Wilson in Pitt
Agreed.
He'll see the field with another team more than with us. He was one of my favourite 49ers during the dark years and I wish him the best of luck.
