Doesn't like to dabble in free agency? He has every year, and spends a s**t load of money. The problem this year is we have to worry about signing our good young players so we don't lose them in 2011.

But dood! He didn't even TRY to go after Haynesworth, TO, or Hoosh last year!!! We could've won the Super Bowl with those guys!
If we don't sign Peppers in FA, I'll be a Redskins fan!

That's BS. Scotty believes in developing from within. IF we tried to pick up a tackle last year, maybe we would have won 1 - 2 more games.

We did pick up a tackle, but he bailed on us and retired.
Scot has always spent a lot in FA. He just didn't do it last year because there wasn't anyone good, and everybody freaked out.

Did you just start followingthe niners? Clements, Smith, hell they threw a pile of jewels at Brandon Jones to have him come rehab in Santa Clara and catch some practice throws.

Sproles I'm not that fond of, rather pick up a Jahvid Best or Mardy gilyard or even Spiller rather than Sproles.
Dunta, though, would be an awesome pick-up, if for the right price. I've admired his play for years now and was one of the true spot lights of that Texans defense. If it wasn't for the deep CB class he'd prolly would've been resigned, but the idea of him with Clements and Spencer would be pretty solid between their physical playing styles and experience between them.
Only problem is if he thinks he can score Nnadmi and Revis contracts, he's not worth that.

Those two would be a great set of a free agent pickups for the 49ers.

We can dream I guess....cuz that's all it is and that's all it's gonna be. I'd jizz in my pants if we got Robinson.

Since I am hoping that we get Spiller and a tackle in the first, I am hoping they go after at least one of either Rolle or Robinson. That would make it much easier to land another lineman in the 2nd round of the draft.
It will be interesting to see how much money Rolle and Robinson are looking for.
