I stand corrected:
Quote:

Not only does Owens have relationship issues with quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten, but the controversial receiver consistently criticized Garrett's play calling and his offensive schemes to the point that sources say the offensive coordinator does not believe they can coexist.

Link

But like I said, hes been pretty quiet in Buffalo and the rest was in the past. TO knows his days are numbered in the NFL, I doubt he gives us trouble if signed.

source= Ed Werder

Ask the Cowboy Fans about Ed Werder, you will be surprised... Werder was trying soooo hard to find anything on T.O. down in Dallas.....the whole season (even when everything was fine) Werder would always cite unnamed sources....

for others...as far as the Myth that T.O. is a team destroyer or what ever...it all comes back to coaching and stability....if you have no control of your team and there is no stability then anything can destroy your team.... some coaches can handle high profile players...some can't.

T.O. is not a Cancer.... it has ALWAYS been funny how usually NO ONE on the teams he has been on have called him out...even though they wouldn't have been looked at negatively...since you know T.O. is a horrible teammate so its ok to diss him.

in fact he has ALWAYS had teammates back him, publicly...at Philly right after he got suspended for the rest of the year, almost all his teammates went to his Birthday party.....respected players like Dawkins and Trotter spoke up on his behalf.... and when he was in Dallas, defensive players and offensive players had his back and spoke up.

I can only remember a few teammates who have talked sh1t about T.O. Hugh Douglus in Philli... who was a head case as well.....and I believe Newberry threaten him after the playoff loss against the Packers, in Green Bay......this didn't go public.. but they got closer and Newberry has publicly (49er pregame show) backed T.O. and said he wanted more teammates that worked as hard and had the passion of winning as much as T.O. did...

Dude could produce still. and we will need another WR, Bruce , battle and Jones should be gone. Leaving us with a gap at WR.
Remember WE have singletary!!!!!!! he'll make him change like he did to Vernon. TEAM FIRST!!!!!!

If Marvin Lewis can keep Chad Johnson's ego in check, I think Singletary can do the same for TO.

Sorry, but T.O. >>> Jason Hill, Josh Morgan, and Brandon Jones.

For those who want to see Hill and Morgan develop, let them develop when they can earn the playing time.

If Bruce, Battle, and possibly Hill or Jones are gone next year, then T.O. is a no brainer. He adds a proven weapon to the team without breaking the bank - he would also be the tallest WR on the team.
Why would we want a 36 year old WR who has been problems anywhere he has gone?

Philly dumped him, Dallas dumped him, and I would bet that Buffalo was the only team that even wanted the guy last year. ( With his ego he would have gone to a high profile contending team in a hearbeat if he had been given any offer). There is no chance the Bills would keep him after this year. These were all teams that badly needed WR's yet they still chose to dump his ass.

Just say NO to TO
as much i dislike him, you got to respect him as a player and regardless of what he has done. i would take him back for sure
He'll be a raider next year
Come back T.O

agreed, he was never a problem with the niners, and he put butts in the seats on sundays. I don't know but i miss his presence against opposing defenses, trust me ALL defenses account for TO, his ora is too large.
Yes T.O. + Crabtree would be great.
Even if T.O. does not come back to 49ers, he will go into hall of fame as a 49er.

He probably would and it would a supremely satisfying moment for me if Jeff Garcia was the presenter.
