OJ Atogwe, an OG, and a pass rushing olb/de type. The niners need a guy who can win one on one match ups against OTs. I would not mind signing a guy and drafting the same position. I am at that point.

Agreed. And I think at least one of our new starters should be Pro-Bowl caliber, meaning either a big-name FA or a 1st round pick.

Pass Rush, Offensive Linemen, and Special Teams Returner/Running Back.
Whatever we can't get in free agency (starting caliber player-wise) needs to be addressed immediately in the draft.

Absolutely ZERO chance that Donald Penn or Marcus McNeill hit the market.

Agreed. Then again, you never know what happens if there is an uncapped year or a new CBA.

I think our FA spending will really depend on the approval of a new stadium. There is a reason we are so far below the cap and I believe it's too save money that we're not generating otherwise. A new stadium deal or a potential vote could inspire this organization to go out and spend some money and make some waves to get the fan base excited.
Would love to snag a couple of potential FORMER Patriots in Mankins and Wilfork, but am willing to re-sign Franklin if nothing else. My only fear is that Wilfork is proven (and will be expensive) where Franklin has really only turned it on this year (a contract year). Mankins in FA and then drafting Buluga would be a GREAT way to get this OL in gear for a long time. Also wouldn't be surprised if Jahri Evans was an option. I know that McGlouhan hasn't gone OG in the past in FA, but look at the results of his OLines every year since he's been here. Maybe he'll see an opportunity too.
I would also love to take a look at CB's and either draft or sign one, but doubt we will go high profile after the Clements disaster, so Robinson is probably a no go. We will look to the bargain bin like we found in Walt Harris, Carlos Rodgers could be an option.
I'd love to see Merriman because I think he's given up on SD, but again I just don't know about the FA spending.
Mankins, Re-up Franklin, Rodgers, and Merriman if he's available at the right price.
Realistically Mankins, Franklin, Rodgers are the guys I think we could bring in.

I would love to see us get Mankins and Merriman. Then draft Berry with our first pick and best Tackle available with our next one.
