Why not? Manusky likely knows something about him, or at least knows someone who knows. Do some due diligence and sign him if it makes sense.

Well last good season he had was in 2007, 5 picks, 9 pd's and 68 tackles. Would love to see him start over Roman.

Seriously put him next to Goldson while Lewis is out and dump Roman. Hart is younger and better and probably knows Manusky.

Hart knows Manusky, Harris (OLB), and Lewis (SS). Harris and Manusky from the Chargers, and Lewis from his Eagles days.

Hart has been suffering from Roman-itis for the past 2 years, but he had 5 INTs in 2007.

The best bet at getting him would be the Greg Manusky connection. Only if Micheal Lewis and Jeff Ulbrich are headed to IR.

Maybe Keith Lewis is still available?

ha ha Chargers, Hart is pretty good, and definitely among the least of their problems. Niners should definitely pick him up. I wonder how Manusky feels about him, not sure if they were in SD at the same time?
