Agreed. I just didn't know if Pashos had a history of injuries or not.

According to the Jaguars' website, 2006-2008 he started at RT in 47 of 48 games. I think the reason he got cut was because they were trying to move him inside to guard to make room for the young talent at OT, and they tried to get him to take a pay cut and he refused.

Edit: In 2006 he played for the Ravens, but still started all 16 games and contributed to a line that was second in the NFL in sacks allowed.

IF they are looking at him, they should also be looking at Levi Jones. I don't know who is a better fit, either way we are really thin at RT after Snyder. Even though the coaching staff is talking up Snyder I am worried that he is somewhat injury prone and we have all seen enough of Sims to know he is not a reliable replacement.

He will soign with KC. They cut thier starting RT and he will get the chance to start right away. KC will over pay for him to make it happen

Very solid RT, really good run blocker. Has some history with our O-line coach Chris Forester who was his O-line coach in Balt for a year.

I think Levi Jones is washed up and maybe not healthy, plus he is a LT, Pashos is a traditional RT who's strength is run blocking. We could always move Snyder to LT if Staley got hurt. IMO, Pashos is just about as good as Snyder, he may be a tad bit better as a run blocker but Snyder maybe a tad bit better as a pass blocker.

Seems this guy will find a starting job fairly quickly with a number of teams...not sure if the Niners would be his first choice, but sounds like he'd be a great additional that would enable us to say farewell to the Raider leftover Sims.
